A unique theatrical event where the audience is given an illustrated play script to read to themselves, at their own pace, in an engaging and exciting setting. You read the script, use your imagination and encounter your own Private Play. No actors are present. It is just you, the story and the visceral experience.
Ten Little Memories takes a fantastic and atypical look at mental Illness and how memories shape our lives. The Private Play combines illustration, animation and theatre in original and intuitive methods to present an original and exciting storytelling experience.
Do It Theatre create theatrical events that utilise literature, animation and illustrations to tell stories for people with mental health problems that can be enjoyed by everyone. Recently we have been given a New Emerging Theatre Companies Award from New Diorama Theatre in London, a Small Grants Award from the Tom McGrath Trust and project funding from Creative Scotland.
PREMIERE PERFORMANCE: Wednesday 17th February at 4.30 pm, 4.35 pm, 4.40 pm, 4.45 pm, 4.50 pm and 4.55 pm.
Thursday 18th February- Sunday 21st February at 5.00 pm, 5.05 pm, 5.10 pm, 5.15 pm, 5.20 pm, 5.25 pm and 5.30 pm.
Please note that the staggered performance start times are in place to allow audience members to explore the space in a less crowded manner.
